Formula Zero

Formula Zero is the new zero-emission race class for hydrogen and fuel cells vehicles. The race class will commence with small racers, and as the car industry moves to mass production of fuel cell vehicles, Formula Zero will scale up to being a full size racing class.

Vision

“Formula Zero is passion for sustaining life on the planet…and passion for racing”
Formula Zero believes that mixing zero emissions technologies with the FUN of racing offers consumers a positive vision of the FUTURE.

Formula Zero’s ultimate goal is to make drivers enthusiastic about fuel cells, and accelerate the introduction of zero emission cars. Racing is the perfect platform for the development of this technology so that we can drive with fuel cell cars sooner!

Zero Emissions

“Formula Zero promotes well to wheel zero emission technologies through racing with fuel cell powered vehicles”
Hydrogen has the potential to become a truly sustainable energy source because it can be produced from renewable sources like biomass, wind and solar power. Fuel cells turn hydrogen into electricity emitting only water. Hydrogen in combination with fuel cells is a serious zero emissions alternative for conventional combustion engines: safe, practical, clean and efficient.

History

“Formula Zero was founded in 2003”
Formula Zero, together with top quality partners, started the race for the future by building the world’s first fully-functioning hydrogen fuel cell racer; the Mark 2. The vehicle only emits water and is especially designed for racing and powerful acceleration.
